It's France Time!

Time has flown since my last entry, but here I am sitting in the Toronto airport way too early - as usual - awaiting my flight to Amsterdam connecting to Marseilles. This flight is with KLM, partner of Air France and therefore our departure lounge is identical to previous Air France flights.
Since we've been forced to convert to travel with one piece of checked luggage, we've been amazed at our ability to scale back. As I checked in, I discovered the monetary advantages of not travelling overweight, as the lady next to me who was travelling on to Dubai was forced to cough up $275 for one extra overweight bag. Yikes!
I also discovered that I was sitting on the wing, since my assigned seat didn't exist. I did manage a seat after quite a while, but Dawn & I will take this flight in different parts of the airplane unless we can sweet talk seats together in Amsterdam. Well, a seat, any seat beats running after the airplane.
Although my intent is to make entries to my blog daily, we are in Cairanne for almost the whole stay and I will make every effort to find interesting ways to update my travelogue.
