Back to LA

Today was a travel day, so there's not a lot of news. We awoke to sunny, yet chilly conditions. Last night's storm in the mountains left quite a nice skim coat of snow on the peaks.
They are forecasting a temperature of 93 degrees F next Tuesday, so it's definitely warming up. We had a great but abbreviated stay with Bill and Brenda. Now they get a day's rest before the next company arrives and Bill can get back to his croquet - the lawn is shown here - if he can find parking during the LPGA tournament.
We took the I10 and CA60 to get back in LA. You know you're heading out of the desert when you pass through the Palm Springs wind farm of 5000 windmills.
Our timing was once again perfect as we avoided any major slow downs getting through LA. We lunched at In'N Out - again - can't help it - and returned to find a sick Betty. The rest of the day was pretty slow and we did Thai take out tonight for dinner which was delicious. We all managed to stay up late enough to play Bite Me and it was still a pretty early curtain call.
