Fete des Peres

Today was Father's Day - Fete des Peres here. It was also market day again in St. Chinian. It was also Music Festival time and all of the local budding musicians serenaded us for about two and a half hours, directly below our terrace, which of course overlooks the Town Hall.

The day was cool, but at least mostly sunny. While were in the Boucherie, we overheard the locals complaining about the winter conditions they were experiencing. They have NO idea! Myself, I was in my Father's Day outfit.

Because the musicians all set up inside the old abbey which our place adjoins, we got our first look at the remainder of the original cloisters. In these old towns, you never have any idea what is hidden behind the ancient facades.
